Moving adsl line to another room?

Hi guys.
I want to move the adsl line from one room to another. Both rooms have a possible telephone connection. I was wondering whether i can just move all internet equipment into this new room and just connect everything the same

Plug a telephone in the box and see if it works. If it has dial tone you should be sorted.

our main telephone jack is in the lounge but i ran a telephone cord from the lounge to the entertainment room and have everything connected there, no problem.

Ok, so the dialling tone didn't appear. I'm guessing the line must have been cancelled a while back. How easy and hopefully pain free is it to re-enable the line?
