Apolagies if this has been covered, my search could not find an answer to my exact question.
SWMBO moved the lounge around which meant the TV was put against another wall.
We have an extra view unit but use our own satellite.
I thought it was a simple exercise of just extending the cables.
I bought 2x15m and connectors (screw cable wire in on both sides and cover with white sleeve).
Connected the cables and when I start the decoder up it shows channels but no info and then reverts to an error stating there is no signal.
I have disconnected the cables and just touched the wires to rule out connection faults and still nothing.
Has anybody had this same experience? I live in the bush and a contractor will cost more than a months subscription in call out fees
