Yes they were but I presume as they are cross-platform browsers, one could assume that the results would be marginally the same on OS X. Maybe you(or somebody) could do us a favour and see if the benchmarks results for Chrome hold water on OS X.
Webkit faster than Chromium betas under OS X
Bottom line: They're both flipping fast.

Safari is just nice on Mac OS because Chrome/Chromium is still under development and definitely beta software.

Forget what I said about opera not being as fast as safari, with the fanboy block list and cached images enabled it's incredible.

Thread title should be renamed moving from Firefox to Safari to Opera. :D

It is the slowest browser on the list is what I can say.

I'm using Opera 10.10, sure javascript is not as good as webkit but site load times are faster with the fanboy blocklist and images on cache, it saves bandwith too. JavaScript is measured in milliseconds latency by trackers and ads increase load times by seconds.

Edit:
sunspider is a webkit developed benchmarker so it's obviously going to have webkit on top.
