Good evening @PBCool and @TheRoDent,

After more than a month and a half with Vox not resolving my internet connectivity problems I have decided to move on to Cool Ideas.

I have more than one problem at the moment:

1) Vumatel sent out technitians and they tested my fibre line and confirmed that the line is in perfect working order. However they stated that my ONT needs replacement due to the fact that the SN number doesn't match the number on their system (i.e. our ONT is not correctly registered to our home address). But, the technitians said that it is of litte use replacing ONT if Vox hasn't yet released my line as Vox would just grab the new ONT. Thus they would advised that once Vox released the ONT you must create a new ticket with them and then they will come and replace the ONT.

2) After a long battle, even with me paying Vox for May altough I had no internet for most of the time, Vox has still not released my ONT for you to grab my ONT. Thus at the moment I can't access my new internet from Cool Ideas. After pressing for most of yesterday and today I finally have a Vox cancellation number (although I doubt that they have released the line with Vumatel)...

I urgently need to get my internet working.
Would it be possible for you to help me in this case?
Can you arrange with Vumatel to replace the ONT and then give it over to you?

Thanks in advance,
Andrie Vorster

Sure thing PM me your details and application reference.

What are the problems you are experiencing?

The main problem was the internet just not responding (i.e. getting a lot of ERR_NOT_RESOLVED and related problems)...
Included pings in the 3000 to 5000 ms range, speeds much slower than what I pay for (with a direct LAN connection when performing the speedtests).
After meeting (I suspect the whole Vox technical team), and none of them resolving my issue as a last resort to give Vox the benefit of the doubt; I upgraded my up speed (I doubt that adding one device to my home would suddenly cause the experienced issues) thinking that I may 'kill' my line by 'overloading' my up speed limit.
But after more than two weeks of waiting when they haven't upgraded my package (while more than one of them promised me that it would not take more than 3 days), I had it and gave them notice!

I could go into more detail if you really want to know all the issues, but I must admit that after more than a month and a half of this I've quite had it with Vox.

Good morning @PBCool,

I haven't had any response from you since I sent the PM and also no response on my PM followup yesterday...

I would greatly appreciate a reply.
I would also understand if you can't help me in this regard.
But, doubt that to be the case since your initial response seemd that you can solve the problem?

I would highly appreciate it if you could help me in this regard.

I can't get anything out of Vox!

Kind regards,
Andrie Vorster

Hi Andrie, yes Telisha has been in touch already I believe?

The line wasn't released by Vox as of yesterday and we requested the Vumatel cancellation ref.

@PBCool,

Thanks, yes Telisha has been in touch!

I know, Vox clearly don't care about their customers.
I have been begging them to just release the line, even if I need to pay for another months service!!!

Thanks for your help,
Kind regards,
Andrie Vorster

Can attest to no care.

Hell they want their airties back AND be paid rental for airties for remaining 17 months of 24 months! WTF!
