Moving House - how to keep connected

Hello all
Moving house in a weeks time - the house already has DSL connectivity. What is the best way to ensure that Telkom seamlessly moves my account to the new location?

I think this is where neotell comes in handy..
From what i =v heard its not possible to just move it Telkom will have to start from scratch...but thats just my 2cents wait for the other replies..

nothing is ever seamless with Telkom. You can just make your application for the move and pray for the best. But in your favour they are normally not bad with location transmissions. Should be reasonably pain free.

If its in the same area code then its usually smooth...if not then it could go either way.

when you say the house already has DSL connectivity, do you mean that:

a) there is a DSL line there installed and already working, or
b) there is a DSL line there installed but it it needs o be activated, or
c0 the area is a DSL covered area and you will need to apply for a line?

Mine went smoothly but was same area code.
