I hope this is not a blatantly stupid question...

If I move business to a new premises, is helkom the only company that can "connect" the lines to my PABX? or are there independants that can do this as well...what about the internal lines?
Care to recommend anyone? or as a LAST resort, Neotel? Yes/No

TCM? I think they could help with the internal ones at least. Not sure though. You can find them at www.tcm.co.za. Siemens do this sort of thing as well...but once again only the internal stuff afaik :/

By the way I think you would have got a better response had you posted in another section...welcome to forums though :)

Thanks for that Johnny Two Shoes... I scanned the forums and I'm not sure where to place this....suggestion maybe ? Well one line will be ADSL so I could sneak it in under that, maybe into the ADSL forums :D

Your question is very relevant. For starters, if you have your ADSL moved and it is from Telkom, you would have to follow the standard Telkom procedure.

Your PABX may only be re-connected to the Telkom network by an ICASA licensed LMO1 company which is usually your supplier. If you do not want to use them for any reason whatsoever, you may use any other company with a LMO1 license for your brand PABX. This same company is allowed to connect the analogue line of your ADSL via your PABX. They probably will not take care of your last mile of contact, but could arrange that as part of their service and standard Telkom required documentation.

Hope this help.

Feel free to drop me PM if you need more info.
:)
