Hey everyone, i was just thinking about how many customers telkom is going to have left after we all move over to the SNO's DSL offerings :D
It actually made me laugh to think how much telkoms share price will drop :p
Is it perhaps possible to make a poll of who plans to go over to the SNO?

Didn't we all day this with new technologies such as Sentech, IBurst, etc.
Unless they provide a competitive price with equally stable and speedy solution, I don't see myself moving too easily.

That said, if they do provide something decent, I will be there like a bear.

Cheers, Nick

Poll has been done before, but seeing as this is your thread, I added it again.

The only time I will be using the SNO is when they can get intl. bandwidth @ wholesale price and not from Telkom

If they get it from Telkom, it's likely to be more expensive than Telkom's DSL offerings.

sadly enough the majority of SA internet users won't make the jump. As in every cycle of fashion, technology and ...well...pretty much everything...you seem to get the brave few, the early adopters, then the early minority...then the majority...then the lagards...

By this time Telkom will have put so many smaller ISP's etc out of business that it's revenue margins will be derived from multiple new markets...VOIP, VOD etc etc...
