Hi,

So I am having a bit of a thought here. ATM we have a 4mb line (syncs at 2.5-3mb) and its extremely unreliable and exchange congestion occurs one in a while etc. So my brother practically "owns" the line and downloads torrent 24/7 and I'm pretty tired of not being able to watch a decent youtube video (360p) without buffering, playing a game such as Call of Duty or LoL, or simply browsing can come to a standstill.

I have an Afrihost 5gb package and receive sometimes 1 bar of LTE. Vodacom I get 2 bars 4G. I have an average download of 8mb-10mbps. I know our tower is capable of 40mbps when i'm near.

If I would like to move to LTE, I would want to do it properly (get some antennas and a big data package) so I can get some really nice speeds. The household (excluding brother) uses about 30-40gigs max a month.

I have heard good about Telkom Mobile's LTE.

What antenna's would I need? What mobile operator would I go for? How much would it cost? I wouldn't mid a big data package such as Telkom Mobile's 60+60gigs and use it for 3-4 months etc.

Please assist.

If I'm going to do this, I want to do it properly and so that it can be used down the line.

Oliver
