Mozilla releases another fix for broken Firefox extensions

Mozilla has begun distributing its second set of Firefox updates in two days as it seeks to fix a bug that broke Firefox extensions for many users on Friday, CNET reports.

Extensions, which are called add-ons in Firefox, require digital signatures to improve browser security.

Meh! I wish I knew about this before I deleted and tried to reinstall my addons.

EDIT: Then the stupid thing tells me that I'm not connected to the internet, which was actually true. Once the connectivity issue was sorted, it continue with the same story

Mine was still broken this morning. I cannot believe how many pron advertisements some of the websites I visit have.

My Firefox updated this morning and add ons are working again. Now version 66.0.4

#Me2. But before removing/reloading etc, I tried another add on from the FF web as it did not make sense. It gave me a clue, a big red error message. Off to Google. Set the Studies flag and voila ... phew!

By the time you posted this article, FF 66.04 was out which addressed the issue.
