Mozilla retrenching 60 workers
Mozilla Corp., the maker of web browser Firefox, is cutting about 60 jobs as part of a shake-up under a new chief executive officer.

Mozilla said that the move affects about 5% of its workforce and that the cuts were primarily in the product development organisation.

Very much alive, although I can imagine it is tough. Firefox will continue to struggle getting marketshare, but Thunderbird, VPN, FTP and the developer tools is probably where they will continue to focus for revenue from their partner(s) , mostly Google.
