I'm was never a massive Firefox fan. but since Google, in their glorious ingenuity, removed the scrollbar arrows in Chrome, I might be forced to become one. But if any of these ads are intrusive in any way, I'll stick with Chrome.

Actually took me a while to figure out it was the "new tab" screen they were referring to which I've always ignored, seems it might be worth looking at now.

Wonder what Mozilla mean by "novice users", if you've been using sync for a while will the old "most visited" scenario still apply? Seems a pity really, I'd prefer the ads

I had the same issue with their new scrollbar. It looks like the sort of thing that is aimed at cellphone use.

I read somewhere that they removed the arrows to integrate it more smoothly with Windows 8's interface. Either way, a totally **** move.

They are more than welcome to do that, it is non intrusive imo ... I barely use that page in any case.
