The 3.5mb limit used to apply on bbos 5. Ever since the upgrade to bbos 6,the download limit seems to be non existent

It is this kind of downloads that degrade the service for ALL users. Sure it can be done, but should it? BIS is not a download service, its for on device browsing.

You can get charged heavily for this as apparently there is a limit u can download per day and people hsve taken advantage and downloaded so much

I'm on CellC BIS, have not had a problem downloading.. I don't abuse it, but I do download,..
Probably about +- 100MB a month...

But I do agree BIS is meant for emails,BBM, APP's and web surfing not heavy downloads... although it is allowed..
