Please help I have been trying for the last week to get my self a US iTunes account. I have followed the steps in the other thread that say I need to create a new account and use a us address but every time I try that I am always told that I need to contact iPhone support to complete my registration. Please help

First, did you choose a free app?
Second, did you use a common address? You used to be able to use the SA embassy address, the apple store and so on, but they blocked all those addresses.
The best is to choose a hotel in a state where there is no tax like new york or vermont and use that address.
What did you do differently? than before?

Why the hell did I choose New Jersey? I was wondering why Apple deducted more than the advertised amount from me.
Just go and change you address to a non tax state. You're not the first to make that mistake, and quite a few people I pointed it out to have just changed their address.
