MrDelivery App Problems ordering food

Anyone else not able to use Mr Delivery tonight?

The app keeps saying "We're not covering this area just yet."

I'm in the middle of Sandton lol.

Ah okay same here maybe just no drivers available in the area at the time. Usually they give more detailed notifications but anything's possible

Might sound a bit obvious but try manually entering your address. I get this pop up sometimes when I want to collect and it cannot quite pick up the malls address I am in. Or app is borked.

The problem is there's no drivers to deliver. Same with Uber Eats. Everything is collect only. Guessing it has something to do with the driver strike...

Were Mr D drivers in the strike?

Because for the 2 days the other were we were getting Mr D at work all the time and it worked fine.

then suddenly yesterday it didn't say there were no drivers, it says multiple areas were not in the zone for delivery and you can vote for your area to join. Seems some people in Cape Town also were getting it...

The actual strike was yesterday, i could be wrong, But obviously they wont deliver due to safety reasons. I didnt see any MrD drivers outside restaurants like i always do here in joburg.

Usually the notifications are more detailed. Last was when there was a storm and they warned according to that. This is what I get now but could also be peak and lunch time. Wonder if MRD was actually affected by the strike since they deliver with takelots courier team, atleast here where I reside.

EDIT: Also yes I agree with they may be limiting deliveries due to safety concerns, but yesterday they were operational in my area so it could be certain areas as well
