Whilst browsing the 'net for boot disk images, I found this site with lots of boot disk images : http://oldfiles.org.uk/powerload/bootdisk.htm

Amongst the collection is a MS DOS 1.25 boot disk image

Was very surprised to see that, will download later and try out in Virtualbox
