Ms Outlook for ipad mweb imap settings error

I am trying to get my email to work on this outlook.

This app only support the imap protocol.

I tried

These are the settings I tried.

Incoming settings
Email host. imap.mweb.co.za
Username: [email protected]
Pass: xxxxxx
Port 143

Outgoing setting

Email host. smtpauth.mweb.co.za
Username: [email protected]
Pass: xxxxxx
Port 25

I just cannot get it to work. Any one can help me

I think the Outlook app is for outlook.com emails, try using your standard email app.

Are you refering to the old Acompli app, that MS bought in December and rebranded as Outlook?

In that case yes you can only do imap for other provders

So what you say mweb & vodamail imap will not work with this Outlook app

Haven't used Mweb specifically with it.

But I run my Outlook.com, Gmail and iCloud accounts through it no problem.

So it's probably just a setting.
