I have a client thats running Outlook 2003 on her Win7 system, she recently received an HTML email document that shes unable to print. at first it gave a script error due to an IE 9 conflict. i reverted it back to IE 8, no script error anymore but now if you enter page setup through outlook it crashes outlook also through IE 8, there is also no Print preview available in IE 8 it just gives a blank screen. I reseted IE also disabled all the add-ons. I repaired office 2003 but no luck. shes able to print any other document but not HTML. Googled it but didnt get any real help regarding the situation. Any help given would be greatly appreciated.

Phew, I can only imagine the countless problems when sticking to Office 2003.
I would seriously recommend upgrading to 2013. Is that not possible right now?

Shes on a tight budget so if i can fix this problem it would help her otherwise i would have to get her office 2007 but would that solve the issue?

I could be wrong, but I think O2003 was designed to work with IE7 (maybe even 6).

The issue has come up here, and it doesn't look like it can be solved - the combination just doesn't work.

The only thing I can recommend at the moment is downloading and setting up a free email client, like Thunderbird, and using that to print. Alternatively, perhaps your client has webmail access? Most hosting providers offer that as a feature, which comes in handy in a situation like this.

If she's on Windows 7, I'd highly recommend upgrading to Office 2010 or 2013, the latter being the most recent and stable version. With that installed, you can have the latest IE on the system.

Thunderbird and a new office was the best option, Thanks
