As in do you want to check your max speed according to telkom or?
Ok, here is my story. 3 months ago when I got adsl, technician installing my line said the ten meg I applied for will never work because of the distance = 3.5km from the exchange. So he put me on 2 meg. Naturally, after 1 week, I decided to take my chances and upped the line to 4 meg. And it worked, stable as hell with a downstream of 2.7meg nite and day. @ That time I was told the exchange could only handle 10meg or so enabled but it could only handle 4 meg lines.
2 weeks back a poppie from Telkom called me and delightfully informed me that NOW my speed is up to 20meg. YES LAWWWRD, MY PRAYERS were answered.
So I converted to a ten meg back again, could not sync me @ all, now my line is out, they logged a fault, so everyone is giving me a different story, noise, exchange restrictions, cant get a straight answer.

You can sign up for anything up to 40mbps, just call and make sure with telkom, they will have a technician come to your place and make sure, from what other posts I have read.
