Im a student at the University of Pretoria and Id like to know if anyone here studying Computer Science or anything else for that matter has managed to get a free or cheap legal copy of Vista through the MSDNAA program. Does Tuks even have MSDNAA? Im not studying Comp Sci so anyone who is, can you help?

I'm doing my honours in Comp Sci this year @ tuks, and we do have some sort of agreement (MSDN) I got VS.net2003, 2005 and XP from CS Reception. No word on Vista yet...The only thing that might not be good news for you, I think you need to study Comp Sci or IT, or atleast have a CS subject. But I may be wrong...

I only did COS130 in first year. Crap, and I don't know the guys studying Comp Sci.

I am sure if you just go there "like your suppose to be there" and ask for (what ever you want) and fill in the form they might just give you the disc's, well it's worth a try. You don't have anything to loose...

The only thing is I don't think they have vista yet, the university only switched to xp when service pack 2 was released, some PC's still run 2000 , so i reckon they will only request vista some where next year.
