MSI Windy U100 netbook screen problem.

Hi bought a Msi netbook a couple of months ago and when i started it up this morning the fan stopped after a couple of seconds and the screen doesn't go on, any ideas what it can be, i have to try to fix it cause CC didn't give me a guarantee on it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

ok, found the problem, the led backlight of the screen uttered its last breath between switched off and switch on, wont ever buy a msi product again, its a pot of BS, my netbook cost me R1999, the screen died for no reason costs R1300, what a waste!!!!!!

Are you brave enough to change it yourself?

Why not replace it with a generic screen (if available)?

i am quite handy with electronics, so either i'm brave or i'm extremely stupid,haha, i will replace it with any screen as long as it fits and works, do you maybe know whom i can contact in regards to a generic screen?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
