Hi Guys,

My msn doesn't want to work. When I enter my username and password, it give an error saying that the service is temporarily unavailable. When I go to Tools > Options > Connections it says that I am currently not connected to the .net messanger service. When I start the troubleshooter, it says that your gateway apears to be offline.

It worked before with Vista 64bit, but sinse I have loaded Win7, it's a no go.

Screamer WiMax connection. IDU connected to a switch and then I connect with a PPPoE connection.

FYI. you can't uninstall msn and you can't re-install it... afaik.

Do you custom proxy settings setup in Live Messenger?

This can be found by clicking the Advanced button on the Connection panel.

If you have a firewall - try disabling it for a moment and attempt to connect via Messenger again.
