MSN wont sign in

I am having a problem when trying to sign in with my SAIX account on Msn.
No matter what time of the day or night it says Signing into Msn failed because the service is to busy.

If I sign in using a IS account it signs in everytime.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

It's because you're not using Telkom's messenger.

The more they control, the happier they are.

eish guys I know my nick is wisecrack ,but enough with this already
It really is annoying the #### out of me having to change account everytime I want to use Msn.
Maybe I must submit a support ticket to SAOL ,but I doubt its something on their part.

On SAOL and MSN signs in fine here, so i have no idea what could be problem.

However i do time out and drop a lot tho. Every hour or 2.

Hmm...I'm not on SAOL but another SAIX-based ISP and MSN is working fine here.

try using the proxy

MSN Messanger uses the proxy setting in Internet Explorer.

Ensure that IE does not "auto detect settings". Mebbe IS uses specific settings that hang around when switching back to SAIX.

A recent version of MSN Messenger was bugged. Got the MS site and download the new one.

got that autoupgrade.. all is well with mine xcept for it not autoreconnecting sometimes when the router struggles & takes long to negotiate another session..

Thanks stoke and others I had my proxy settings enabled and after disabling it I can login now no problem.
