MTN 3G corrupt?

FYI, whenever I have a problem with something like that, I usually don't give the people too much information.

So by going to MTN and asking them to test it from a laptop with/without the cable etc would be ideal cause you can then say it doesn't really work on yours or something similar.

If all else fail change "IT guy".... most of the techies I know spins a load of bull**** to the client knowing they won't know better and they're not really in the mood to explain (or debug) what really happend.

most of the address the symptoms rather than the cause, which in your case is very expensive.
 
Next time your laptop dies unplug everything remove the battery and hold the power button for +-5sec's. Put your battery back and see if your laptop works.. that seems to be a common thing to sort out ;)
