MTN 3G in Silver Lakes?

Can anyone say whether the MTN Broadband 3G service is fast and reliable in Silver Lakes? Vodacom works relatively well on an old 3.6mbps modem in phase1 of the estate. Is it worthwhile moving to MTN with a faster modem?
