MTN 4G LTE PROBLEMS

I have a Huawei LTE 4G dongle I purchased for mobile use when out of internet range which I have not used since 2021. I would like to reactivate it, but am concerned that the cell number may have been deactivated by MTN. The status shows "No service" and there area zeros in Data sent and Received, and in the lower Service section is shows "Regional is restricted" . If I buy more data will it work or not.

If you have a prepaid SIM and you don't have any activity on it (load airtime/data) for 3 months, the number will be recycled ant not work.

You will have to get a new SIM.
 
Thank you. I thought that might be the case. Is there a SIM that does not expire if unused for more than 3 months?
