Its been 3 years since they started rolling out. Seems like things might be finally changing for the better.

My phone is dual sim, I have my MTN sim & my local sim in at the same time with Wi-Fi calling enabled. I don't think this can be used with single sim devices if your intended card is removed.

Just connects as soon as I am in a decent wifi connection. The once it did not want to connect so I switched on flight mode, and then wifi and it connected.

No, unfortunately not. Still try to figure out how to talk to a human at MTN tech support.

I spoke to a ‘champion’ after confirming your mobile number option 2 than 3 and hold for an operator.
It’s the fraud department and just say no idea how you got there and they will transfer you.

Thanks, this actually worked. The lady said wifi calling was not activated on my line, and she is going to activate it.

Let me know if yours is active, I don’t see on the display where it shows wifi calling is active on my iPhone.

What is for Vodacom, MTN still doesn't work.

I went to MTN in the Menlyn shopping centre, and they were able to activate it on my line. It is now working on my phone.
