Does anyone know if MTN will be providing Visual Voicemail?

I asked at two different stores and they didn't even know what it was. One MTN guy started telling me how video calling is not included in the contract.
Tried on two phones in store and voicemail button just goes to the normal service.

It's not like MTN had three years to prepare for the iPhone and get the network upgrades in place. Losers.

Typical :)

One question i have is, how does VC or MTN Launch a product like the iPhone etc ?

Do they have a technical consultant who investigates the device and then does a SWOT analysis on the implementation of the device so that the launch can go ahead.

Maybe its just me, but if i was a head hancho at VC i would have someone dedicated to forums like this who feedback the information to the relvant parties... How can no-one at MTN have known about VVM or thought that people would want it, same as the bumpers we are supposed to get free with the iPhone 4.

Product research and development surely needs to be an area of focus for these guys...

Maybe i should telltrevor ???

the stupid idiots are so damn incompetent , how the hell can mtn sell the iphone and when i go to southgate they dont even know what a micro-sim is .... the idiot wanted to offer me a micro sd adapter

Like most companies in SA, the cellphone providers provide the least possible service at the highest possible rate. Hence employing people who aren't skilled or well trained that provide the illusion of service, while "executives" milk us for all we're worth.

Well interestingly enough I have been using VV on Vodacom with my iPhone 3G for the past few months, but for some reason it's not supported on the iPhone 4. Anyone know why?

I enabled VVM on my vodacom contract about a year ago on my iPhone 3G and when I upgraded to an iPhone 4 at the beginning of the year it automatically started working as soon as my microsim swapped kicked in. Been working flawlessly on my iPhone 4 ever since.

Thanks, will try and re-subscribe.

So its 2013.. is this feature enabled on MTNZA network??

Can someone maybe shine some light on why this important feature is still not available MTN after so many years of the iPhone being available on their network? Is it difficult to implement it? Vodacom has it so I cant understand why MTN does not. I switched to MTN from Vodacom after being with them for as long as I can remember but then quickly changed back to Vodacom when I realized this feature was missing. :(
I did ask MTNZA on twitter if it will ever be implemented but as expected got no response .
