MTN and Windows Live Messenger

Anyone know how much it costs to send/recieve WLM (IM) messages on a normal mobile wap phone? Per message? Is it cheaper than sms? I have a blackberry (BIS) so don't see the costs and don't know how much normal wap phones data consumption is when using WLM or how much it costs?

I used SPB Wireless Monitor to calculate that it cost me less than 2cents a e-mail. Unfortunately, this app is Windows Mobile only. The costs though should be very similar.

I use WLM and hardly notice the costs (it must be very low ie cents).
