MTN Autopage and 3G

I dont get any 3G connections with my 6680 being used as a modem. Edge works fine. When I try and make a video call I get "Network not supported". Called Autopage and they said I need to enable HSCSD for R95. Does that make sence to anyone? A mate of mine has 3G with his 6680 out of the box - no cost. Why the hell must I pay R95 for someone to tick a checkbox?

Yup. Sounds like the same old Autopage that we all know and love.

I kinda remember MTNBB saying that you only need to be provisioned for HSCSD if you plan to do Video Calling. I surely am not provisioned for HSCSD (or video calling) but 3G works fine for data when I am in coverage. (Am not with Autopage though).

PS : You can provision yourself for video calling by dialing *123# and following the menus.
