I'm currently on an Anytime 350 Top Up and was wondering what would happen if I add a R25 75Mb data bundle to my contract.

1) Is this allowed?
2) Will the out of bundle rate apply to the R350 airtime I have included?

Just wondering if someone has done this before, not really in the mood to go stand around in the branch. Hoping someone can give some feedback.

Firstly your bundle won't come out of the R350 .

Tey'll bill you for 2 vouchers, then you realise 75mb is maybe not enough so you ask to switch to the 300mb bundle... next months comes along and they'll bill you for 350+75+75... you ask them to cancel the 75 and they'll add another 75... but they'll only bill you for the 350 now.

This is what I found when adding data bundles onto an MTN contract.

Eish, thanks. Seems it's a waste of time.

Why do they even give an out of bundle rate for these bundles, when does it come into play?

Add the bundle as it's better value for money than the normal rate... just be very aware of how rubbish MTN's billing system is.
