Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing the same problems regarding MTNs balance enquiry services. I generally check my balance using *162*pin# and 16202. It usually takes a week, maybe more for my balances to get updated. eg. if i check my balance today it will reflect say R80, it will continue to reflect that amount for approximately a week at least before it gets updated regardless of the amount of calls i've made during that period. Can we be held liable for call charges due to incorrect balance information given by MTN? I really dont see what the problem is in updating their clients information more frequently. I had a contract with cell c before and their balance info was updated on a daily basis.
NB: On the billing date any amounts owing to them by me seem to be updated instantly without any problems.
