MTN BIS Data Charges

Hi, I am using bb on MTN BIS.. for some reason i keep getting charged for data. I have never been charged until recently. I only use the native apps on the phone, bbm and email but am being charged for data. The weird thing is that in order to find the problem, i have wiped the phone and just used it as default and am still being charged. So basically even if i do not use the phone for browsing, email or apps i keep getting charged.....oh and if I switch to non bb phone... no data charges..... any ideas?

Are you using the blackberry apn?or try blackberry.net as apn aswell,both of them work and shouldnt charge you for internet usage except for some streaming ofcourse

After wiping the phone for the second time all seems fine. maybe some app was causing it?

Or MTN was having some sort of issue with network,like with there apns for blackberry,I know that if I have an issue with internet i change apn from blackberry to blackberry.net and vica versa and then it works,nevertheless its working for you now and hope it continues to do so
