Researching options for a dual sim phone: The superflex 5GB and unlimited calls/sms is R209, add Telkom data R99/25GB from Axxess that's R308 for 30Gb data and unlimited calls.
 
Heads up- There are different retention agents. In house retention agents will be able to give you the deals posted by some members earlier. Outsourced agents cannot. This is what a supervisor told me. Not sure how to get in touch with the in house team as the number is the same 135.
I spoke to complaints department and they had someone from inhouse call me. Managed to get the 41GB/1120 mins for R289 that was posted earlier that I couldn't get with the other agents.

As far as I’m aware when you call 135 you always get the outsourced retentions agents, they are typically idiots but what can you do.

I posted this 41GB + 1120 min deal.
I got it from an outsourced agent (Ignition Group)
 
I guess agents are just plain stupid/lazy. 3 agents I spoke to after you posted said that deal is not available. That's when I complained. Glad I got it now. Thanks buddy
 
Signed up on 24 November 2025 for Mobile Internet Gold (12 months)
Got an sms today that my subs expires 31 October and changes from R129.57 ex to R173.04 ex VAT.
Technically I would still have almost a month left (until 24 November) at the lower subs, but for R44 I am not going to spend the time fighting them on this.
Will wait for BF week to try and get a good upgrade deal.

They seem to have changed a year or two ago how they calculate the 12 months or whatever the duration is and now they count the first pro-rata month as a full month, it didn't used to be like that and I don't know why they would have changed that.
 
10GB + 125mins = R139
20GB + 75mins = R159
15GB + 525mins = R229
50GB + 125mins = R289

Called 135, didn't get a third party. Chose the bolded option.
