MTN Blackberry on another network

Hi guys,

I am going to work in another country for a while, and was thinking of getting a local prepaid SIM loaded with the Blackberry service.

I have an MTN Blackberry (9700) upgraded to OS6. How do I go about "deregistering" the handset/PIN from the MTN network, in order for me to be able to use it where I am going?

When I lo into the the MTN Blackberry web portal, I can only see a "change device" button.

Please help.

Mtn might be able to unlock it for you or one of the various cellphone shops.
