My job requires that I be able to receive SMSs for emergencies. The SMSs are sent during an outage of our service and I absolutely must receive the SMSs
We've checked everything in our systems and the company we use confirm that they deliver the SMS.
The company we make use of sell emergency service Call/Email/SMS to companies (they even list StandardBank as a customer). I highly doubt that spammers are making use of the service, it doesn't look cheap. But my guess is MTN doesn't get money from it, so they must be blocking it.
At this point it is between cancelling my contract or MTN fixing it on their end but I can already see an uphill battle here with MTN.
Any advice from fellow MyBB members?
No-one else in my office is having trouble but no-one uses MTN (or has anything good to say about them). Really starting to regret choosing MTN.
