This started April, the call says conditional call forwarding, then drops or connects with bad quality or the person is very soft on the other side.

Mtn ,as usual, logs the details and say they'll get back to you.

I've noticed my wife's service is doing the exact same thing. Two different phones with the same problem. Any know what to do to resolve this or is it a MTN thing that i need wait for to get fixed

My gf had this same problem. VoLTE was activated on the sim on our request but the phone model did not support it on MTN. Started a facebook chat with MTN and mentioned specifically about the VoLTE we had activated and explained that she could not make calls with the same issue as you described. Next morning it was fixed. I removed the sim and put in my VoLTE supported phone and noticed they deactivated it. Have not had a problem since. My phone supports VoLTE on MTN and I have it enabled on my MTN sim but I don't have the same problem as her and you. What phone model do you have so I can check for you if it is supported by them?

Just in case someone still gets the issue of calls being dropped ever so often, try disabling wifi calling in settings (if you phone has that feature)!
