Progess. Now, how do we find out of MTN has LTE working, and if there are any other setting to change to make use of it.

I've bought another LTE-capable device, so can I subscribe to the LTE service right now?
Not yet. MTN's LTE network currently doesn't offer voice, USSD and SMS, and we can only guarantee that the LTE service will be supported by the Samsung Galaxy 8.9 LTE device and no other devices at this stage.

Yeah...riiiiight MTN. Umm..sit on it and spin?

Followed the prompts, MTN 14.1 version now installed. However, come hell or high water, now I cannot connect to 3G at all. LTE on or off, it doesn't make a difference - no 3G, only Edge. Rebooting, switching airplane mode on/off, no go.

(30secs before the update I have full strength 3G service, around 18MB/s on the speedtest app, so the area is not the problem.)

Hello all... Wife's iPhone 5 is still sitting on iOS 6.0.2 (10A551), with Carrier version MTN 13.0... What do you think? Should we upgrade, or is it safer waiting where we are now?

Decisions, decisions...
