MTN Cellphone modem & MTN Data Modem

My downloads and uploads via MTN is .07MBS runs at 7kilobytes what is wrong I am using a Cell Tower on a national road. Ilive on a farm.
When I first bought the Data Modem I got speeds of 27kilobytes/second now it is snail pace. MTN is piggy backed onto Vodacom, do you think Vodacom is the culprit?

Yeah man having the same problem very slow speeds and no one wants to talk at mtn,I have a 3g tower 600m away from me and I get theese speeds after my softcap? That's not acceptable
