I am so irritated,

I go to logon to mtn.co.za, get a popup, that tells me I need to request my new logon details. Which I do.

Follow the whole process of again entering my information. At the end I get a pop-up that say :

A OTP (one time pin) will be sms'd to you, which I never received. Wait like 15 min try again and still nothing.

So I call 808 which directs me to 1555 and get a help desk person. Who kindly tells me there is a technical problem and I must try again in 2 hours. WTH!!!

I could careless in 2 hours time,...... FAIL

Try update your email on your profile, then you'll scream.

sounds right to me, oh wait you thought they were world standard ? no no no

MTN's website has never, over the many years, worked properly for me. Endless issues with logging in etc... nothing new there.

I've had the same issue now for a couple of months, tried calling the call center - got stuck on hold for way longer than anyone should have to just to end up speaking to somebody with no clue how to resolve the issue. I cannot wait for my current contract to run out....... not that I think any of the other networks are any better, but at least if you go prepaid you can switch to whatever network seems to be better at that stage.

Well my contract is up soon, wondering if it's worth porting to vodacom, I have my reservation about going to Cell C.

Vodacom is the best.

It's always been between MTN and Vodacom imho, don't think the other two Cell C and Telkom can be in the same sentence
