MTN Confirm Blacklist

I bought a 2nd hand Samsung phone. The phone says "Sim 1 not allowed" the sim works in all other devices and sim slot 2 of the device. I suspect this phone is blacklisted. I how can I confirm this? I have the imei number.

Was it a s8 by any chance? I had one stolen and black listed recently.

Maybe phone mtn and ask if they can check?

Not sure if it's blacklisted based on sim slot.
Sounds like you need a new sim slot.

It could be that SIM slot 1 is network locked, and SIM slot 2 is not.
