looked around, but cant see a nice one
only the lumina 535,but read it have some problems

what els is there thats good,

must be at mtn tho, vodacom have some nice deals, but she wants to stay at mtn

atm i got a huawie p6

its a ok phone, but will like something new :)

Well looking at the yellow trader, if you have a hard R200 cap there is the Xperia M2.

If you can go to R229 there's the Lumia 1320 and the Ascend G6 you can look at.

thax, but 200 is already to much for her :P
but maby we can make a deal or something :)

i like the 1320,but only 1gb ram, seems abit to little for nowdays

why doesn't granny just buy her R200 airtime and a data bundle if she needs it? let her grandson buy his own phone...

well i told her that, but she want a contract,u know old ppl, when they have something on there mind, there is no way to change it :P

she says its easy for her to get the the things everymonth and not worry about it,in that way i understand her point :)

but wont complain for a free phone :D,who will

I suggest you just try phone finders search tool not just because I have an affiliate link to it :D Affiliate link to Phone finder or just use the regular link

I was thinking about a large Windows phone for my Granny, thinking about using kids corner and having all our numbers with live tiles with pics of the numbers she phones often

Then get the S3 mini. It's like R169.

Port to Telkom Mobile on one of their Smartplans (100 voice/video call min's, 1GB of Data & handset (S4 Mini 8GB) for under R200) and force-roam onto MTN at no extra cost.

Once her contract expires it switches to month-to-month there is absolutely no reason to renew allowing her to cancel or port at any time and another advantage is she can switch to any plan with a months notice.

i thought of taking over the contract

the 1320 looks nice to me,not to much,ok specs for everday use

but its a bit on the big side

i'll talk to her again, maby she changed her mind about the contract

P6 > G6> S4 mini > S3 mini

The bottom line: MTN sucks on contracts under R300.

For a little more you can get the P7 from Vodacom. Just putting it out there.
