MTN contract Esim

though to ask this here, maybe I'll get a better answer than we dont know,

somebody wants to enable the dual sim capabilities of their Iphone 11, currently, as a Physical sim card on MTN contract,

how to migrate this to an Esim, so I can use the Physical Sim card slot for something else, like a Vodacom/O2 Sim card, as he travels to the UK often.
and needs to keep his SA number, instead of swapping around Sim cards constantly.

who do I approach? as MTN support is beyond useless, and the store I checked at, also beyond useless.

Its sad to hear that support is not provided by some of the MTN staff. I visited the MTN store in Cradlestone mall, as I also have a similar need. Its actually simple, they perform a SIM swap from uSIM to eSIM, you get an email with your QR code to scan and then you simply go into Settings to load the "Data plan" as it is named in the OS to download your eSIM profile, and follow the activations steps on screen. You can also ask them to print the QR code in store (they take a screen shot of the QR code and then copy it onto a word document), otherwise, you can scan the QR code from the Agents PC screen. MTN probably offers the best options when it comes to the eSIM via QR code, in my opinion.
