MTN contract Question?

Hi All

Just want to know if this is possible with a MTN Contract.

I want to change the contract number into prepaid and MTN must issues a new number for the contract

MTN said that the original contract number cannot go into prepaid and they will kill the number

As far as I know, you can't migrate a contract to a different number. I'd like to think it is possible though. If MTN say they can't do it then they can't.

If I remember correctly, MTN call it number swap.
You get a prepaid SIM Rica using the same ID number as your contract.
Call 808 and ask them to swap numbers on the two SIMs.
Not sure if they still do it.

Not sure about MTN, but did it a few years ago on cell c and was also called number swap. Vodacom claims they cannot do it.

MTN is useless. leave them . They handed me over for non payment of contract that expired.

MTN contacts don't expire. You have to cancel them otherwise they become month to month agreements.
