MTN contract renewal vs STRIKE?

In about month 24 or 26 of MTN contract now. Want to upgrade handset. How/where can I do so? Work in Sandton and commute through the 'Parks' daily.

Put it this way; I've been waiting a month. The stores are open but have no stock and are powerless to do anything that involves MTN head office

Time to port to ... ? Seriously though, MTN should be making a plan. To be held to ransom by these critters is unacceptable.

MTN 'Direct' (door to door delivery?) not an option? Presumably via external courier. Or are they impacted by strike too?
