MTN contract

Hey everybody :)

I just subscribed to an MTN anytime topup 50 contract and received my Sim yesterday afternoon around 1pm. Since then i haven't been able to use the contract. I've received 2 messages from MTN, one was welcoming me to the network and the other was telling me about some call specials.. I do know of the 24hour activation period but its been longer than 24 hours and it still doesn't want to work. When i try to make a phone call it tells me my subscription has been suspended... Was there something that i was meant to do to get it going?
 
Have you tried phoning MTN. Dial 173 or 808 if you with MTNSP
 
phone the shop you bought the contract from and get them to sort it out.

I went to the shop this afternoon and spoke to a consultant and they said they would phone and find out what is wrong and give me a shout withing half an hour... but of course no phone call.


I think im going to give 173 a call and see what they say.

oh and i dont even know what my cell number is :eek:
