It must be possible to get balance available or how much data used on an MTN Autopage Contract? But I cannot find out.......

Autopage customer service say phone 258 - but I get told by the automated voice I have no data bundle?

*141# only works on prepaid?

Help please!

Thanks - but that only works for MTN Service Provider :(

Any body know how to get the same for an Autopage Contract?

Anybody know you to escalate Autopage calls as my call seems to be killed without a response ...... So hard to get customer service!

Tick tock.......
Comments: Good day Thank you for contacting Altech Autopage Cellular (Pty) Ltd. Please find this response as an acknowledgement of receipt. We apologize for the late response as we are receiving a high volume of emails. Please be advised that we have checked on the system and it shows that the data bundle is active for 500MB. We have also logged it with the network to investigate with reference 216937. We will advise you within the next 2 to 48 working hours. Do not hesitate to mail us on [email protected] should you require additional assistance. Kind Regards E-Desk Administrator Altech Autopage Ce

No response so when logged again I started at step 1 again - please dial 141 for balances on prepaid accounts......

Come Autopage stop treating me like an idiot! You do not even sell prepaid Autopage accounts so why would me as a contract client want a prepaid balance enquiry!

So skipped step 2 of dialing 258 and escalated to MD using CPA requirements.

Why must I pay for data used outside bundle if you cannot give me a balance so I can manage?

Dial *141*6# - but there are some bundles missing

So eventually they come back and say dialing 258 or *141# works intermittently but it is not Autopage's problem as that is a Network service;(

Well intermittent for me is never!

And funny when I am paying higher rates it is for the "premium" service that Autopage provides! But when it does not work it is the networks problem!

So it is confirmed Autopage is a rip off and adds no value! Go direct to the network operators!

Autopage last response basically says they are dependent on network and cannot "guarantee" any service including there own!

So complaints lodged with ICASA and National Consumer Council - let us see if they have any say?

Also requested info direct from MTN.

It is time to move!
