MTN Data down

Same in joburg. But not just mtn from the looks of things.

EDIT: local sites seems to work.
 
I thought it was something wrong with my phone. Then I tried my other phone. Same problem. And when my wife sent me a sms instead of a whatsapp I just knew it must be something bigger.

I can use Google, Gmail, and local sites on my computer and phones but anything else like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, etc... is down.
 
HI we on the MTN network in Cape Town and also no international traffic possible at the moment.

Obviously Youtube and Google will work as they hav local servers in cape town.

Office 365
one drive
teamviewer

..so far
 
Yeah my data also down both MTN and Axxess/MTN data Facebook and Whatsapp, but yeah Gmail app and other website sites like google, mybroadband and absa working fine.
 
On mobile with Telkom....

Anybody with Telkom out there?
 
No international access - seems like the whole country. Maybe users in the Atlantic suburbs can look out the window to see if the country is sliding into the sea?
