MTN Data issues in Sandton

So over the past two weeks I have noticed that despite having full signal on my phone the MTN data connection seems very slow in Sandown. When gaming on my cellphone I continually have long delays where it tries to get signal for 5 to 10 seconds and is unable to communicate with the server. Anyone else noticed this? Feels like the tower is just overloaded or something.

I have tried both the MTN Data and afrihost APN's and both behave the same. Using a vodacom phone I have for work as a mobile hotspot gives no issues/lag so it seems limitted to the MTN data connection.
