A question directed mainly to MTNBB...

Is MTN likely to consider other data packages than the current 10MB, 100MB and 1GB packages? I'm hoping for something like a 250 and 500MB package. 100MB is too small and 1GB too large a package.

Thanks
Simon

We left a gap on purpose to find the 'sweet spot' and we now have some good usage and customer information which can help us to develop the appropriate in-between packages. However I can't give out information ahead of time either way.

MTNBB, I see MTN are offering a deal on their business time package which includes 300MB of Data. What about the Procall packages?

Have you any idea when they are going to implement the "sweet spots"? Last month I spent R385 on data calls, which when you add the 100MB bundle, I might just as well have bought a 1GB bundle!

I myself have already used up over 50mb on the bundle in just four days. I mean, I am talking about just simple browsing! Which raises a question that might have been answered somwhere else:

How does mtn bill the data transfers? Say I transfer only 400kb, would I then be billed for the total meg OR only for the amount transfered? Being billed for the total meg regardless of amount if less then 1mb would in a effect be a cheat and simply put as stealing.

And also there shouldn't be any other charges as well, should there? I have noticed that my unbilled call charges have increased by 20 bucks in the last three days, and I have only made three less-than-a-minute calls. Unless someones else been using my cell...

This also brings me to ask regarding the accuracy of the billing. I have used up my entire 100MB bundle, yet my phone says that I have downloaded and uploaded a toltal of 41MB. I reset my data counters the 12th which is the day after billing closes. Last month I couldn't believe that I had about 357MB of traffic (170MB according to my phone), but because I don't have itemised billing I don't know what gives.
