Hi everyone
I've been using Afrihost mobile data on my MTN sim card, paying about R630 for 20gb a month,
Is there any other better deals out there? I did some research but I haven't gotten anything good, thought asking here would be a good idea,

Have you checked out any of our fixed wireless services? https://www.afrihost.com/landing/rain_fixed_wireless/#fixed-wireless-availability It acts like mobile data, just fixed to one location and the data is a little cheaper. :)

That's RAIN, and all the providers are the same price last I heard, so just get it directly due to the unlimited price plan and add the uncapped off-peak for R250 thing (though they charge more for on-peak to make up for it).
With us, one plan is all you need. Data at 5c per meg (R50 a gig). Only pay for what you use, at the end of the month.
Add unlimited off-peak to this plan for R250 a month and get 19 hours of unlimited data between 11pm and 6pm. Data used during 'peak hours' 6pm - 11pm will be charged at R50 a gig.
When you buy your SIM and/or device from rain you get free unlimited mobile data to use and enjoy for a certain number of days. Once you've reached the end of your free unlimited data days you'll continue with rain one plan – 5c per meg (R50 per gig).
If you decide rain is not for you – no problem. You can cancel online anytime.

Peak time is more expensive, but you can offset it with the off-peak bundle.

Afrihost also sells CellC "fixed" as well though.

Btw, you also need to add more/better dialogue options to your bot, just throw more training data at it, like if I say that's not what I asked, ask for clarification.

So false advertising.

Check the new telkom unlimited lite freeme package 20gb. Sim only R499 with free minutes to all networks depending on fup

Else wait for mtn black Friday deals like the rest of us with 50gb sims
 
Thanks guys :D Is this black friday deal going to be for a month only? I'm looking for something long term that's a bit cheaper, guess I'm not going to get much better than R650 for Afrihost's 20gb?

If there any BF deals, they'll most likely be on 24 month contracts

We are working it and we are trying to make it as user friendly as possible.

The device prices are not directed at the market prices, it is directed at the price we sell the devices for.
 
Don't waste your time with the current afrihost options. Mtn offering 40gb + 40gb night sim only for R499. 20gb +20gb night is R299 it's a 24 month contract but well worth it imo.
